  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

Have you tried Travel Republic, if you put your date in and click on 5 star only you get a good selection of hotels, some disney ones, not showing Grand Floridian on the date I put in but was showing Animal Kingdom Hotel from £106 each per night for a night in June.

Maybe it would show up for your date!

would be nice though....i'd just stay in the hotel though for those days to get my monies worth. wouldn't it be lovely just to try out all those hotels, a couple of nights each and then go back to your favourite ofr the week!!

Sharon not sure how true ths is, but I have read that you can call the hotel direct near when you want to say and if they have availability you can negociate a price. Not sure I'd want to take the chance, but might be worth a try?

I wondered if that's what it was for. Could be worth a shot calling the day before and explaining what it's for, they may come back with a good price. That's a lovely idea and something they will remember.
