  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

Always worth checking!

On Tig's spreadsheet it says we could 'probably' book a 2 bed apt at Grand Floridian for the same price per person as rooms at Port Orleans. I wouldn't have thought to check even! Would possibly be a bit tight for space with 7 of us but we will only be sleeping there. Just goes to show you should at least look at everything before ruling a resort out. She is also looking at DTD partner hotels so we should have plenty of choice! Waiting to see if free dining comes up.

We've spent a very pleasant afternoon looking at options etc. Animal Kingdom Lodge has gone on the spreadsheet. Bit far out but the thought of being able to sit on a balcony in my pj's watching the animals is very appealing. Good job I've got a couple of extra lines on the lottery rollover tonight!
