Any advice/thoughts?

We are thinking of maybe a week either end August or October half term, but instead of doing Disney going to Universal and Seaworld/Aquatica instead.

Question is where to stay. Our first few visits were villas, usually on 27 and in recent years we have always stayed in Disney resort, so where would we stay which is closer to Universal and Seaworld.

We are not lovers of International Drive and I think would prefer to stay in resort/complex rather than just hotel. Don't mind being in one room, but would like homely feel.

    Any suggestions please?

Can't help with the accommodation side of things I'm afraid, we are I drive folk, but you can get a 2 week 'Orlando Flexticket' from online Florida for £176.

Universal's Islands of Adventure ® Universal Studios ® SeaWorld ® Orlando Wet 'n Wild ® Orlando Aquatica ®

And as you can see Wet 'n Wild is also included. :)

Thanks Jack will look into that. Haven't decided yet if we are going, we weren't going to go this year, but let's wait and see. It really depends on flight prices in school hols.

Think they will be, I know I looked last year to stay 1 night so I could get early access to parks and it was £200 per night. Not sure if that will reduce /night the longer you stay or not. I'll have a look, but don't really want to be paying that much for a room.

JS - I seem to remember you staying at Vista Cay one year, if so what was it like? I know I remember you having problems with one resort, was it there or somewhere else?

Looks like a great location for where we want to go.

    Thanks

It was the apartment with the grand piano if you remember that one. The apartment was huge and very good. The pool area is nice, not brill but ok but the only views that are available are over the car park.

The location is good as you can access I.Drive at both ends and in the middle via Universal Blvd. Everybody and their mother does rentals at Vista Cay so have a good look on the web to see what you can come up with.
