  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

Has anyone good ideas for breakfast at Disney theme parks that are cheap? We will be trying to get to the parks as they open and thought if we had breakfast there it would save time. Ideas for each park would be great :D

It really depends on what you want, if it's a sit down breakfast in the parks then that won't fall into to 'cheap' catagory, but there are places in each park to grab and go.

There is a bakery on Main St, which sells amazing pastries, cinnamin rolls, muffins etc, they also sell yoghurts, fruit etc if you want to healthy option.

DHS has Starring Rolls, just on the junction where you would walk down to ToT, same sort of things.

I haven't really grabbed at AK or EPCOT, but I know there are places there as well.

We haven't had sit down breakfasts at Parks, apart from character, so can't help there.

We've been to the bakery on Main Street, had a cinamon roll, huge and very very very nice, filled me up until lunch, you can sit down in the bakery but it gets very crowded and you're lucky to get a seat first thing in a morning. You see plenty of people sat on the pavement outside.

Another fan of the bakery at MK too, never had a sit down breakfast in the Disney Parks sorry. We took some breakfast bars with us to th parks on a couple of days when we wanted an early start.

Bakery at Magic Kingdom sounds like a certain one to do, any ideas for Epcot? Animal Kingdom we won't do too early as there's not a mad rush for anything there like there is at the other parks.

There is the boulangerie in France, but they dont open the countries till 11am. How about going to the bakery along the Boardwalk, they do some nice items there and you could then walk into Epcot......just a thought. :)

If we go early, we tend to go for the 11:30 lunch option. Keeps us going all day.

    Tusker House is good!
