Today we had no alarm and slept quite late. Didn’t leave villa until nearly 11am. We headed to Disney Springs to have a wander around the shops. On the way we spot an armadillo and two raccoons....the armadillo was alive! We took our time, deciding it was too cold to bother with a park tonight. It is only 5C, drizzling and a slight breeze. Okay to be outside but not for hours.

We leave Westside alone as we were there last night. I make a purchase in Sephora and for the first time, Dave doesn’t want to sit outside and wait for me, he comes in. I look in the new jewellers/accessory shop called Ever After.

Time for our 1pm lunch reservation at Morimoto Asia. I think this has maybe become my favourite place to eat on property. Dave has beef lo mein and I have two starters as a main. I have the three ribs which are to die for and the chicken bao buns. One thing, our server had an Asian accent and he should not tell folk that he is going to get them a fork and knife. A knife and fork would be far better received.

Still wet and cold we head to a surprise I have for Dave....the new Star Wars virtual reality experience....Secrets of the Empire. OMG! This is amazing. At first I was walking like a puppet, not trusting that I wouldn’t fall off a ledge etc. You are decked out in a vest with a backpack and a head piece with visor. It was way more than I expected. You actually turn into a storm trooper....look at your arms, hands, body...you are a storm trooper. Dave was a storm trooper. Amazing. You fight your way through a series of challenges until you meet Darth Vader. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Did I say it wa amazing!

I buy a calendar to bring back for a pal at World of Disney. We look in TrenD, Art of Disney, Uniqlo (sp!) etc.

The plan was to go to watch Fantasmic tonight but the thought of sitting on a concrete bench in the cold did nothing for me. Instead, we went bowling at Splitsville.

We just went to Publix on the way back and bought loads of fruit for dinner as we weren’t too hungry. We are now sitting eating fruit. I am catching up on trip reports and Dave is watching a movie on his iPad. It is only 8pm so a really early finish for us tonight.

Only photo I took today was of the cakes at Publix. A bit random but here you go....

Nice to hear that marimoto is good as it's one that we are looking at doing. On the dining plan it's 2 credits for dinner but only one for lunchtime and the menu looks nice. Shame that it's still really cold it's taking the edge off the trip for you

Can totally understand why you don't want to sit out in the cold. The Star Wars experience sounds great. The cakes look very tasty, did you not get any?

I totally understand about the fork and knife, I could imagine your faces when he came out with that. Cakes look fab, that would have been hard to say no to. Last time I said I would put up with anything to be there, but I have had enough of the cold now so could not go there unless it was really warm, the Duckster needs heat now.
