  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

Go for it! That sounds like a fantastic location. You can have a few cocktails or margaritas in the World Showcase and stagger back.:p

I never realised that there were villas on the Boardwalk.

    I am very jealous.

We have decided that this year we will make time to go around the hotels and The Boardwalk is on the top of the list as well as The Grand Floridian after our breakfast of course:)
So what other hotels are worth a look around?

We love the Wilderness Lodge. The setting is beautiful.

A good one to look around especially at Christmas is Fort Wilderness. We booked a sleigh ride last trip and we went round seeing all the lights & decorations.

Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Animal Kingdom Lodge are my favourites Jane, I find the Swan and Dolphin very nice but a bit austere for me.
