  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

More than a dining experience The Boathouse at Disney Springs also boasts a multi-million dollar fleet of 19 rare boats on display for guests to see. They have been gathered from museums, private collectors, and boat shows from around the world.

Among the star attractions are Captain-guided tours from The BOATHOUSE Amphicars. These amphibious autos launch from land, entering the water with a splash, taking guests on a 20-minute tour of the landmarks of Disney Springs. Most people have never seen an amphicar because there were only 3,878 of these unique vehicles produced from 1961 to 1968.

These rare cars drive on land and enter the water taking guests on a fun-filled, 20-minute tour of the landmarks of Disney Springs. The tour costs $125 per car, eat at the Boathouse for lunch (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) & receive $25 off an Amphicar Tour booking, tours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

As well as the amphicar tours there is another way to explore Disney Springs from the water. Just in time for Valentine’s Day why not try a Romantic Italian Water Taxi Cruise. Embark on The Venezia, a breathtaking 40-foot Italian Water Taxi for a romantic Captain's Guided Tour of Disney Springs, complete with chocolate-covered strawberries and a champagne toast.

    30 minutes - $75 per person, $50 per child under age 13
    60 minutes - $115 per person, $75 per child under age 13
    Tours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
