  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

Over the weekend Walt Disney World ticket prices increased in price. The price rise has been implemented on one day, multi-day and annual passes, for example a 2-day ticket increased from $199 to $209, a 3-day ticket from $289 to $305. Theme park tickets aren’t the only increases, other fees around the Walt Disney World have increased as well. The cost of the Minnie Van will now cost $25, an increase of $5. Parking charges have also increased:

Regular parking now $22 (previously $20)
Preferred parking now $45 (previously $40)

No word yet on Universal Orlando Resort increasing their prices but usually they announce a price rise quite quickly after Disney.
