  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

ok, you have just entered Magic Kingdom. You are on Main Street, taking in the view of the castle as you stroll towards the lands.
Where do you go now? Do you do the same route every trip?

no I vary it, but it depends what we have fast passes for and what times then I work round them with as little to-ing and fro-ing as possible

Like Jen depends if we have fast passes but don't have a set place to go first

Most times we go clockwise only change it if we have fast passes, us Ducks are creatures of habits.

We usually start with our first FP early in the morning for Buzz....then HM....then either Jungle Cruise or PoC FP
Then, we go off thge parade and any shows we are going to watch, just fitting in other rides when we can.
Best things for me at Disney parks are the shows and parades and I watch them all....loads of shows on our Christmas trip

Hadn't really realised it before but we always seem to go anti clockwise unless we have fast passes which kind of dictate your route.

We nearly always head to adventureland first, unless we have fast passes somewhere else

Depends on the fast passes and where they are. Sometimes like the train or the people mover first.

No set route, depends if it’s just the 2 of us of if we are there with our Daughter / Granddaughter in which case it’s entirely up to her where she wants to go. We like everyone have to take into account Fast Pass times but they are not the ‘be all and end all’ for us these days.

    We usually gravitate towards Tomorowland.

We were given a piece of advice before our first trip and it's stayed with me - head for the back of the park and work towards the front. It's less crowded apparently. But these days you do have to take FP into account.
