  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

this time last year I was in Florida celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary and the Facebook posts are a constant reminder of our wonderful holiday which makes me happy and sad at the same time.
This year I visited Leeds to go to a concert that was actually cancelled but I went anyway as the hotel was booked.
Was amazed when I went for breakfast and they had a pancake machine! It was brilliant, pressed the button, the batter was perfectly dropped onto the conveyor belt and within a couple of minutes I had two perfect pancakes and maple syrup. Not quite the same but hey they tasted delicious.

We went somewhere and they had this but I'm blowed if I can remember where it was. It may have been Birmingham airport when we flew from there in November. I had them and they were nice but the toppings were a bit iffy.

Not seen a pancake machine like that before. I had pancakes for breakfast when I was in Blair Atholl this week, as you say Debbie, good but not the same as Orlando
