  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

Every time we go to Japan in Epcot we go in the big store there (mainly to cool down!) and we see people doing the picking a pearl thing. Do you get a pearl every time or is it pot luck there's something in there? I have a cunning plan to get a pearl necklace next visit :D

You do get a pearl everytime, they measure the pearl when they open the shell and if its no big enough they let you try again. If you get a necklace watch out for the price, you pay for the setting of the pearl then the price of the chain is on top, can't remember the price tho

I got a free pearl at the DTD stand, worth approx $100 and had it mounted onto a ring for my pearl wedding anniversary this year.
