  2. Hi all – we just wanted to let you know about some changes coming …

As you will be aware, DoingFlorida is currently spread across two different sites; DoingFlorida.com and DoingFloridaForums.com. We will soon be changing this so that everything will be together under one site; DoingFlorida.com.

The vast majority of our members and visitors already view our daily news on the main DoingFlorida.com site (or via our Facebook page) rather than on the forum. From this week, the daily news will appear only on the main DoingFlorida.com site, and this forum will shortly be closed down. We want to thank all our members for your fantastic support over the past eleven years, it has been great to get to know so many fellow Florida fans! If you would be interested in joining a DoingFlorida Facebook Group please let us know - it would be great to keep the community together - we will start a thread in the Members Forum so you can let us know what you think.

It's the end of an era but the start of a new one and we very much hope you will join us!

Best Wishes from the DoingFlorida Team

Correct terminology advice please folks! If you check into a Disney hotel and want to try and wangle a free upgrade to a better room do you say "Any chance of an upgrade?" or do you have to specify FREE upgrade? Anything worth a try for a freebie (not that it usually works for me:rolleyes:)

I use the words ' are there any upgrades available'. We always view the room before taking the bags out of the car and if we are not happy we tell them. If they come out with the usual ' we're fully booked' then say you will go elsewhere.

Suprising how they always find a better room.

I've never managed an upgrade to a better room, keep trying though!
