might as well go for Virgin if they are the same price BAYCAS, thanks for letting me know. Good luck with finding a holiday, more difficult with prices for ever going up.

When you've made your ticker there is a code at the bottom of the ticker page. Left click to highlight it all (forum code) and then right click and right click again on copy.

In Doingflorida click on USER CP at the top of the page and then click on Edit Signature. Delete anything that is in the large box and then left click on the box and then right click and then left click on 'paste'

At the bottom it says 'save' left click on that and you should be there.

If it doesn't work just shout and I'll do mine all over again and write it down as I go and then send it to you.

    Rob.

    Hiya,
Press preview signature and see if it shows up and if it does press save. That should work . If not make sure you have deleted the previous ticker, enter your new one and try preview then save again.

Hi did you get your vegas hotel booked? I was looking at the MGM website for May next year and the midweek rooms were only $79 may be worth moving out to go to Grand Canyin and then back in.

Hi. Sorry dont know much about the Stratisphere other than going up the tower for the night view. Its at the end of the strip not far from Circus. My daughter stayed at the Fremont, cheap and cheerful. Dress wise anything goes. A few dress to kill but unless you plan to do one of the big shows or an upmarket nightclub its which is still smart casual sorts will do it. Done all the national parks. Grand Canyon is a must see. I would plan to stay overnight. Its a long drive out and that way you get to see sunset and sunrise. If your planning on seeing more than one park get the annual ticket. there is free hop on hop off bus along the rim stopping at all the vantage points or its an easy walk around the edge. We stayed in the thunderbird lodge, bit of a boyscout feel to the place. booked a rim view room but to be honest it wasn't worth the extra money, our room had a huge tree outside the window :-( Not much choice of places to eat so book your evening meal as soon as you get there. We didn't do the helicopter flight. Done all the main sight seeing things, Lake Powell, Page, Hoover Dam, Yosemite, Sequioa, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Rainbow Canyon :-( Monument Valley, there is a nice route 66 dinner in Williams. Wimslow as in standing on the corner! We've done 3 road trips so cant remember which ones were closest to Vegas. Which ones were you thinking of doing?? If you plan to go to more than one national park its much cheaper to get the season ticket

Who are you booking through?? Are you flying into Vegas? I like it on the strip. MGM Grand was really nice at the end of the strip opposite Paris and the Excalibar.we stayed in a tower room, booked through the hotels own web site and got a really good deal on the price. Mid week is the cheapest. Rooms were good size and it was spotlessly clean. It is huge, no exagration,, you cant actually see to the end of the corridors so not a good one if you struggle with the walking. The car park is at the side and joined to the hotel via an underground walkway. We didn't gamble so cant comment on that except that there is no pressure at all. They are happy for you to just watch. If your interested I think all the hotels run a 'school' for anyone interested in learning a game. Nice pool. I hated the Excalibar. i'd always wanted to stay because it looks nice from the outside because of the theme but it was very smoky rooms were very small and well worn and there was a greasy smell about the place. Took ages to check in and out. Parkng is easy.
Treasure Island is in the middle of the strip again parking was easy, rooms were nice and a good pool. They have a nightly show outside, a bit cheesy but passes the time. We ate out at Denny's. Driving along the strip can take forever when everyone is cruising but there is a cheap bus that runs 24 hours a day. You get a $5 ticket for unlimited travel for 24 hours. Stops at all the hotels along the strip down to old town.
Circus Circus at the botto end of the new strip, is just that really, very very crowded, good free show running through the day. wouldn't be my first choice although It is one of the cheaper ones. My daughter stayed in one in the old part near the wedding chaples, can find out what it was called and let you know. Very cheap. She said it was basic but they were out partying so only wanted somewhere to sleep. We have always done it indepenently so book direct with the hotels. Airport is very close to the hotels but wont bother you at all. Dont do what I did. My husband pulled up outside to drop off the cases so I grabbed a trolley... it was like one of those scenes from a movie, bellhops appeared from nowhere and pounced on me!! The evenings should be getting cooler in October. I think those hotels are the mid range ones. Avoid Bestwestern at all costs!! especially the one at the airport. Hope that helps, anything else I can help with ??
