Advice please

Hi we have booked for next year but we just want a couple of days at a hotel before we head down south to the keys just wanted to know if anyone has stayed at & would recommend any of the following hotels :-

Comfort Inn Suites Maingate on 192
Destiny Palms Hotel Maingate West
Quality Inn Suites @ Universal Studios
Holiday Inn express on I Drive
Caribe Cove Resort Kissimmee
Hampton Inn Sth of Walt Disney World
Radison Hotel Lake Buena Vista Vineland Rd

The Caribe Cove is around the corner from the Bahama Bay where we stay, they have a lovely infinity pool there. It will be more lxurious than the other hotels I would imagine. All depends on what youwanted

Holiday inn express is having a few good reviews, not sure but I think it had a recent refurb, good for Universal studios if you want a day there.

Hello .... i'm a long time follower of these boards ... thought i'd finally make a contribution....

We've just returned from a fabulous stay at Caribe Cove so I can highly recommend a stay there .... however it really is more of a resort and they charge resort fees and a one off cleaning fee of $65 (regardless of how long you stay).... so if you were only intending staying for a night or so ... these charges add up and it ends up being an expensive option and it is quite far off the beaten track...

I've read good things about Destiny Palms for good value .... seen it for as little as $29 a night in voucher books including breakfast .... it's located behind the Mcdonalds on 192 near Houlihans so you can't see it from the main road ...
